Current savings is the sum total of current value of all investments allocated to a goal. This amount is updated dynamically based on the assets allocated to the goal. On a daily basis their values keep updating themselves. E.g. Mutual Fund NAV, stock prices, values of fixed deposit or recurring deposit etc. to name a few.
Current Savings is bifurcated into Debt & Equity. We club real estate, gold, insurance policies and all post office schemes, FDs, RDs etc. under debt for sake of simplicity. Under equity we only show equity mutual funds and stocks.
