You need to map it using the unique data point you had entered while creating that client. E.g. it could be either one of --- PAN, Mobile or Email Id.
So, if you wish to update Date of Birth of the client then you can simply do it with just two columns.
First column would be PAN, Mobile or Email and second column would be date of birth.
